Founded in 2005, Progetto Ecate aims to promote the understanding of printmaking and to pursue excellence in its practice. It achieves this by providing, maintaining and staffing a print studio, where on-going courses and events are offered. The international Summer programme has a broad selection of intensive classes for beginners and experienced artists. We hope our weekend or one week courses will not only tempt you to come and get creative but to consider extending your stay so you can sample the delights of the surrounding area. During autumn, winter and spring, the activity is mainly focused on long-term courses during the evenings as well as weekend workshops, suitable for creative breaks. During these months it is possible to arrange one-to-one tuition and taylor made courses for small groups of friends or couples. If you don't know which class to choose or if you are unsure on what printmaking is about, please explore this website and Ecate's notes about fine art prints.
